Start at Frederick Street for some dazzling displays the kids will adore, then wander through Oberon and Dangar Streets to soak up the festive atmosphere.

Matraville is consistently one of Sydney’s brightest Christmas pockets; take a walk along Franklin Street, Barwon Crescent, Cunningham Street, Blaxland Street, Knowles Avenue and Flanders Avenue.

Botany
Page Street (between Wentworth and the bridge) comes alive each year with joyful displays. Add Woodstock, Fremlin and Myrtle Streets to complete the loop!

Carols On The Lawn
This coming Sunday 14th December is the annual Carols on the Lawn in Watsons Bay, held at St Peter’s Anglican Church, 331 New South Head Road, Watsons Bay from 4pm to 6pm. Bring a picnic blanket, food and drinks to enjoy Christmas music and community spirit with traditional carol singing. 

Shop Local At These Festive Favourites
From stocking fillers to artisanal treats, Christmas markets are in full swing. The Ultimate Christmas Market at EQ, Moore Park tomorrow, Saturday 13th December, remains a seasonal favourite with handcrafted gifts, gourmet food and festive entertainment. You’ll also find smaller boutique markets popping up in Paddington, Coogee and Double Bay, ideal for supporting local makers while ticking off your Christmas list.
