Woollahra Public School – Trick or Treat Harvest Fair

Sunday 30th October 2016 was the much-anticipated Woollahra Public School Trick or Treat Harvest Fair. We’re proud to have been involved with the fund-raising community event and this year we sponsored the Woollahra Kitchen Stall, Fairy Floss and Sumo Wrestlers! The fun-filled had rides, parades, food stalls and loads of entertainment for the whole family. P&C President John Meagher says that the event plays an important role in fostering community spirit at the school and funds raised on the day will go towards books and technology for the school, including LED screens and smart boards.

“On behalf of the Woollahra Public School community I would like to express my sincere thanks to you for supporting our Trick or Treat Harvest Fair. It was a fantastic day with so many of the school children, parents and other members of the community attending and partaking in the festivities. More than 1,000 people came through the school on the day. The school P&C’s major objectives with this, and other events, is to raise money to help fund the school’s needs and to foster a strong community spirit. The Harvest Fair raised more than $30,000 and showed the passion and generosity of so many people associated with the school and in our broader community. The generous contribution of Phillips Pantzer Donnelley was a significant part of this and is much appreciated. The money raised on the day will be put towards improving the resources for the children at the school, specifically from the Harvest Fair one of the much need improvements will be a new sound system which is long overdue! We believe that we can make a positive contribution to the education and welfare of all students at the school and help foster a strong community spirit. Thank you for playing a part in this.” John Meagher, President, Woollahra Public School P&C
