Our Champion Auctioneer
At The Top Of His Game
We’re thrilled to announce that our auctioneer Clarence White of Menck White Auctioneers has been crowned the 2022 Australasian Auctioneering Champion which is recognised as the benchmark for excellence in the industry. Clarence battled a stellar line-up of auctioneers from across Australia and New Zealand to take out the prestigious award where competitors test their skills with a complex array of challenges in a high-pressure environment. A five-time winner of the Real Estate Institute of NSW Award for Excellence in Auctioneering, Clarence is an intuitive and tenacious professional with an innate understanding of buyer behaviour and extensive experience across all markets and demographics. His natural talent and ability to read a crowd, connect with bidders, keep them engaged and achieve exceptional results is second to none.
Clarence says, “Auction competitions play a vital role in sharpening our tools and ensuring we are ready for literally any situation that may arise out in the field. Truth is often stranger than fiction on auction day; we see all sorts of wild an unusual situations play out at times, and those unusual challenges don’t come up often, some of them you might only see once in your career, but it pays to be ready when they pop up. So the competition framework helps us by throwing up those unusual challenges before we ever encounter them in the field. It promotes critical thinking, self-evaluation and innovation in preparedness for the wild, the weird and the whacky as well as helping train you to think on your feet.” The Australasian Championship is the pinnacle award for auctioneers in Australia and is an apt recognition for Clarence being acknowledged as the best in his field. Congratulations Clarence on this tremendous accolade!
